Drawing from her years of experience in regional and local governments in Brisbane, Australia, Sociologist Katrina Donaghy co-founded Civic Ledger to build better solutions for customers and citizens. She also began to work across sectors to create opportunities for sharing data, particularly for women through the organization of the Brisbane Women in Blockchain Meetup.
Civic Ledger is instrumental in taking blockchain technology to the next level for water commodities, working around the world to improve accountability. Since 2016, Civic Ledger received multiple awards for its groundbreaking progress, including the honor of winning the Excellence in Blockchain/DLT award at the Australian FinTech Awards in 2022.
