NY Climate Week

It’s time to take stock of nature.

This week at Climate Week NYC, we are supporting nature. Working with Nature4Climate in the Nature Positive Hub, we are spreading the word about signing the Open Letter furthering the Nature Positive mission. With your voice we drive momentum ahead of  the Global Stocktake COP 28 to work to ensure parties meet vital targets to protect and restore nature, and the communities that steward it.
The Global Stocktake is an assessment of global efforts to:

✅ Reduce emissions

✅ Finance climate solutions

✅ Adapt to climate change

✅ Minimize loss and damage

Ambitious commitments have been made to tackle the climate and nature crisis, however data from Nature4Climate's commitment tracker reveals that 45% of these commitments show minimal progress or no progress at all.

The Global Stocktake provides an opportunity for countries to change course, and ensure we close the implementation gap on nature-based solutions, before we cross irreversible tipping points.

To understand the process of the Global Stocktake and the role of nature in climate action, learn more from this blog by Nature4Climate 🌿🌍Watch the video below and sign the letter here .
