For Thierry Malleret, nature is the solvent to resolve any family issue. Thierry first discovered nature’s healing power in a village of 1,500 located 800 meters above Geneva. He knew there was something behind it, and he found the science of the healing powers of nature while working with the Global Institute. That led to a book he wrote, Reasons to Go for a Walk, which delves into what he calls the state of meandering, or walking aimlessly without an urgent destination, fully immersed in the natural world.
Thierry urged senior business leaders, executives, board members to trek, climb or walk in nature. His business Mountain Pass takes it a step further, so to speak, giving leaders a way to go into the high mountains through mountaineering or climbing. In Davos, Thierry led a walkshop that aided executives in making decisions. Some of the most important decisions were made in nature.

He has been the chief economist at a major Russian bank, an economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development based in London, and served for three years in the office of the Prime Minister of France in Paris at the World Economic Forum.
He founded the Global Risk Network and crafted the Davos annual meeting program. He has also served as a partner at Geneva based EJ partners and founded Rainbow Insights and Advisory Boutique, providing tailor made intelligence to investors.
